What is it?
The ISA Stand Assist Lifter is designed to support active transfers for people who have some weight bearing ability, but are unable to raise themselves into a standing position unaided.
This compact, fully adjustable and community friendly lifter promotes a natural pattern of movement. The lifter is specifically designed so that the combined operation of the ‘Telescolift’ lifting arm and ‘ErgoSupport’ lower leg support, assists a natural sit to stand movement, engaging muscles, thus helping to support safe, comfortable transfers and assist rehabilitation. Unlike other lifters, the ISA supports individuals to complete an ergonomically natural stand, moving the centre of gravity forward so that the musculoskeletal system engages appropriately.
To offer family members and carers a highly efficient lift, the new ISA has a compact, curved base dimension and has an optimised product weight. An emphasis has been placed on intuitive design to make the ISA as easy to use as possible for carers and family members.
Dismantling this product can be done without any tools, and thus transportation can be achieved fluidly.
The ISA features many options and accessories to adapt the lifter ergonomics to a wide variety of body shapes and heights, making this a practical choice for use in the Community or Residential Care environments and in situations where the lifter may be used for multiple people.
The ergonomic hand grips are a unique shaped design with curved angle, to fit perfectly with the natural shape of your hands, making sure you have a secure comfortable feeling during transfers. The extendable lifting arm has nine different length settings to allow for various body shapes and heights offering optimised sling use and to maximise ergonomics for an active transfer. The lower leg support has six different height settings, plus the swivel ErgoSupport pad, allows it to fit comfortably to lots of different leg lengths and offers protection to the vulnerable knee and calf area.
