What is it?
The Silva-Supreme Deluxe has been designed specifically for bariatric body shapes, the sling offers two tailoring options to provide ultimate comfort. Designed with both inner and outer leg support tapes, the Inner leg support tapes can be adjusted to facilitate optimum pick up and superior comfort.
The Silva-Supreme Deluxe Sling is manufactured in a structured (heavy duty) polyester, with soft double-layer spacer on the leg sections and soft binding for optimum client comfort. Parasilk on the leg sections help to assist with the application of the sling. This sling design allows for two tailoring options to cover off differing bariatric body shapes. The inclusion of shoulder tucks on this design gives a ‘blousing effect’ on the sling, enabling excess weight in the back area to be encompassed within the sling ensuring better back support for the client during the transfer process. Elastic down the sides of the sling helps to ensure that the sling follows the contours of the body and aids to provide a more structured ‘tailored’ fit for the client.
<>Each sling in the Silva-Supreme range is manufactured using bearers and longer sew on tape positions for additional security giving peace of mind for both client and carer. Inner leg loops are supplied using adjustable sliders as standard to help facilitate optimum pick up positions.
Product Data
The Silva-Supreme Deluxe Sling is available in two tailoring styles as standard.
Tailoring Option 1 (Long Tucks)
This diagram shows the benefit of the long tailoring tucks to provide additional support to the head and upper back area as the sling is tailored to accommodate excess body weight below the waist area.
Tailoring Option 2 (Short Tucks)
This diagram shows the benefit of the short tailoring tucks. Accommodating those body shapes where the weight is typically above waist. The shorter tucks act to allow more fullness to the fabric giving better neck/head support.
